LET ‘EM BURN!

I’ve been thinking, maybe we should let these companies collapse. From what I can tell, its going to be rough for all of us if we bail them out and it’s going to be rough for us if we don’t. So what’s the positives if we “LET ‘EM BURN”? Well the way I see it, it will teach some of them a lesson and it will teach some in our congress a lesson too. It might even teach the foreign countries that are heavily invested in us a lesson as well (they might be slow to reinvest). Heck it might even help change the balance of power from the foreign countries to the U.S. investor / worker all in one swoop. It might even help the misery from this all to end a lot sooner instead of being dragged out for the next few years. Oh, and it will keep from having a bunch of pork barrel spending added onto an already outrageous $700 billion bailout package!

Just my 1/2 cent opinion on the matter.

Gosh, I hate to say it, but I kinda agree with you. Why should MOST of America have to pay to save companies that were run by greedy people?

As investors in the stock market ourselves, we are investing not only in the company, but in the people that RUN the company as well. We just have to TRUST people that we will probably never even meet. But that’s why we are supposed to do our homework. Our 401K is in many diverse companies, but that’s what investing is: a crap shoot and we just have to HOPE and PRAY that it will be OK.

I am really really sorry for all those poor people that would have lost jobs, lost insurance, lost their retirement, but now I am having to suffer because people were stupid and greedy.

And I realize that I am being juvenile by name calling and calling them stupid, but I’m feeling a bit juvenile right now.

And I really like your wife. I think she is a DOLL! And that’s it. :0D
